Hello – I am Heather Hamlet. I was born and raised in a small town near Plymouth, Massachusetts. I am a Boston Sports fan, lover of the beach, live music enthusiast, and recent transplant to Tampa, Florida.

I have worked in various industries from financial services and employee benefits to logistics and healthcare. I always enjoyed the projects that allowed me to put together presentations, eye-catching visuals that kept the viewer’s attention. My favorite work experiences have been in healthcare roles, primarily rehabilitation and exercise physiology. In recent years I have been away from the realm of patient care, but I miss the human connection and the ability to positively impact a patient’s recovery.

In a post-covid conversation I realized there was a space where I could integrate creativity into a career. User interface and experience design can positively impact all companies in all industries. Pursuing this career path will bring me back into a field where I can once again make a human connection.  I quickly got to work and have loved every step of my UI/UX journey.

I am most proud of my Healix Solutions Case Study and I encourage you to read it. Within a couple years time, I believe most healthcare centers will implement electronic whiteboards.  They solve a number of patient and visitor issues while alleviating healthcare worker burnout.
